Statement of Faith

The Holy Scriptures

I believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of Scriptures, that the  original autographs were without error, and that the doctrines of the Scripture are without error. I believe in the authority of the Holy Scriptures as the faith and conduct of the New Testament Church.

The Triune God

I believe in the triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who has revealed Himself through the Holy Scriptures.

I believe in the depravity of mankind at the time of the Fall in the Garden of Eden, whose only hope of redemption is found in the sacrificial work of redemption of Jesus Christ on the Cross. This hope is only found in the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I believe in unlimited atonement, that Jesus Christ died for all mankind. I believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone through God’s grace. I believe in His virgin birth, atonement on Calvary, His death, burial, and resurrection, ascension, and exaltation at the right hand of God the Father as the Great High Priest of the Church.

The atonement of Jesus Christ paid for the sins of mankind. The atonement of Jesus Christ is sufficient for the salvation and healing of man: spirit, soul, and body.

Water Baptism

I believe in water baptism by full emersion as a testimony of one’s salvation.

The Lord’s Supper

I believe the Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet 1:4). The Lord’s Supper is to be observed as a memorial of Christ’s suffering and death, being required for all believers to participate in.

I believe in the office and ministry of the Holy Spirit in the work of sanctifying the believer in preparation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the time of salvation, and offers a deeper filling and walk for those believers who consecrate themselves to His work in their lives. Through the Holy Spirit the gifts of the Spirit operate in the life of the believer.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is testified throughout the New Testament. None of the inspired authors of the New Testament believed this event ceased. This experience is a vital part of the Church for every born again child of God in order to walk a victorious Christian life.

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Hundreds of years of church history support the undeniable fact the all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit have been operating in the New Testament Church. Millions of God’s children have testified that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have not ceased to operate today.

The Five-Fold Ministry

The New Testament supports the fact that the five-fold ministry was given to the New Testament Church without cessation and all five ministry offices are still a part of the body of Christ today.

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

I believe in the Scriptural promise of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, at which time Jesus Christ will return for His Bride, the New Testament Church.

The Rapture

I believe in the resurrection of the saints and the rapture of the New Testament Church as the Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Rom 8:23, 1 Cor 15:51-52, 1Thess 4:16-17, Tit 2:12-13).

Eternal Damnation

I believe in a literal hell that was prepared for the devil and his fallen angels. Hell is a place where those who have rejected Jesus Christ will spend eternity in torment in the lake of fire.
